Hoping your wine or your coffee is stronger than your kids
The idea of having my three year old wear his Batman mask in public seemed like a daunting task as well as I'd seen many parents complain about their children wearing a mask. How will I get him to wear his mask?
As I sat on the kitchen floor almost in tears I get a text from my husband saying the baby is back up and he can't calm her down; I think to myself "what do you expect me to do about that". However I go back to our bedroom and I nurse her to sleep...again.
As soon as I somewhat got the hang of our routine, I felt it again with my second. After my husband's paternity leave was up I realized one day that we needed to go get groceries. "How am I supposed to do this with two kids" I kept saying to myself
Try to do the right things, and they still do what feels right to them. “Work with me here kid!” I had to learn to pick and choose my battles. Of course, I would love for him to be sleeping like my other child right now but that's just not the case.
